Four Words To Remember During Voting Season.
Updated: Feb 16, 2020
The saying goes that there are only two things that are guaranteed in this life, death, and taxes. But the fruits of liberalism are also assured for anyone living in a city managed by progressive policies.
Just as sure as Monday follows Sunday, tens of thousands of young men hailing from a democrat controlled metropolis will stand as defendants in front of a judge who will impart a life-altering sentence upon them in connection with a conviction of a violent crime.
And just as certain there will follow a brief description of the crime in the next day's newspaper or social media. And somewhere sandwiched in between the criminal act, the victims' pain and the community outrage will be an all too common four-word phrase inside the biography of the convicted man which will read, "raised by his grandmother." Or some equal variation such as "mother" or "aunt."
But nowhere will appear the word father, because often in democrat controlled cities the father is nowhere to be found. And the consequences that are seen across the country that include perpetual poverty, high incarceration rates, high abortion rates, and drug addiction stem from the fatherless community liberalism creates.
But the damaging results of the continuous assaults on men by liberal democrats are even more catastrophic and deadly. Today young men who come from fatherless households are five times more likely to commit suicide, nine times more likely to drop out of school, and twenty times more likely to go to prison. By far, the most egregious tragedy resulting from the fatherless epidemic is the irreplaceable loss of the creativity, strength, and leadership qualities of our nation's young men.
Nearly every liberal policy, no matter how open-minded it appears to be, is aimed at dismantling the family unit and making sure that what emerges in its place evaporates the traditional roles of mother and father.
In today's progressive society, manhood is a trait without value. Even more so, are the condemned inherent behaviors and natural preferences of men. On the one hand, liberals have a long list of protected segments of society that are viewed as untouchable, but it is open season on manhood that is seen as some abnormally that needs to be eliminated.
A November 2017 New York Times opinion piece by Stephen Marche entitled, "The Unexamined Brutality of the Male Libido." perfectly sums up the liberal mindset toward men with the statement, "the often ugly and dangerous nature of the male libido."
Liberal Democrats often complain about the number of men in prison. Still, it's their policies that cultivate those high numbers because boys raised in fatherless households are more likely to commit a crime. And that is not an outcome a prosperous society wants. Appearing on a segment of the Tucker Carlson show, where Carlson stated that seven million men are out of the workforce, actor Mike Rowe responded that unemployed men become "disengaged" and "emasculated".
For decades, liberal democrats have unleashed one social benefit program after another designed to give the appearance of helping large segments of society get out of poverty. In reality, the aim was always to control a large portion of Americans by the distribution of the drug called entitlements. "Free stuff" policies accelerate the left's plan to diminish the value of fathers so that women more and more must then rely on government assistance.
Get men away from their families and hook the fatherless families on the welfare state, and the results are open to anyone willing to look.
According to FBI statistics, the democrat controlled city of St. Louis had the nation's highest murder rate in 2018 at 60.9 homicides per 100,000 residents. Other democrat controlled cities such as Baltimore that came in second, had 51 murders per 100,000 people, and Detroit, which came in third, had 38.9 murders per 100,000 people.
Syndicated columnist Thomas Sowell wrote," Blame the welfare state, not racism, for poor black problems."
In a January 5, 2019 article in PennLiv, Sowell stated, "You cannot take any people, of any color, and exempt them from the requirements of civilization -- including work, behavioral standards, personal responsibility and all the other basic things that the clever intelligentsia disdain -- without ruinous consequences to them and society at large."
