Our Generation Defined.

Updated: Sep 15, 2020

At what point does it become appropriate behavior to ceremoniously assault a disabled veteran during the National Anthem? Well, that would be just after the point where it becomes a patriotic duty to officially burn the flag during the National Anthem, which was just after the point that taking a knee during the National Anthem became acceptable.

Every American fan of the NFL, NBA, and MLB has their feet solidly on the proverbial slippery slope. How important is it to the average American sports fan that the National Anthem be respected vs. how important is it to team owners and the athletes who disrespect the National Anthem?

Of course, today's owner or athlete who takes a knee during the National Anthem will offer up a clever array of verbal acrobatics as to why their actions are not disrespecting America.

But when you read the words of Colin Kaepernick, the first athlete who decided to kneel during the anthem, a different reality emerges. "How can you stand for the national anthem of a nation that preaches and propagates freedom and justice for all, that is so unjust to so many of the people living there?" said Kaepernick.

His words are clearly labeling America as a hypocritical and racist country that does not deserve the respect that standing for its national anthem suggests. In Kaepernick's own words, kneeling is an outward display showing the rest of the world that America is a bad place.

But kneeling during the anthem is just one small component in a much bigger goal. The Left has targeted American sports fans to seize power and transform the country away from its founding.

There is a battle happening inside the boundaries of The United States and a war going on inside the boundaries of Americans' hearts and minds.

Every battle entered into by patriots against the Left has its own set of logistics needed to win. If one side has better logistics for a particular battle, that side will win.

The logistics needed to win the battle of kneeling during the National Anthem is maturity. The Left is betting that inside every American sports fan is an immature child unable to function without the distraction of sports. The hallmark of maturity, in this instance, is the ability to delay gratification.

According to Psychiatrist and best selling author, M. Scott Peck, "Delaying gratification is a process of scheduling the pain and pleasure of life in such a way as to enhance the pleasure by meeting and experiencing the pain first and getting it over with. It is the only decent way to live."

For sure, the anti-American Left is ready, willing, and able to launch this strike against America where it lives. These hate-filled, well funded, and well-organized mobsters have determined that the sports fan is one of America's weakest links.

The fascist Left has decided to take a stand and ruin America's identity and history by initiating an attack on the National Anthem. If successful, they will have been able to disrespect America's vision and purpose inside stadiums filled with veterans, police officers, and firefighters.

The name "The Greatest Generation" was bestowed upon an American generation because they answered the call when their country and family needed them to rid the world of fascist madness.

Back then, the price that was paid by everyday Americans to keep America safe and free sometimes meant the cost of one's life. Today, some Americans can not even sacrifice the cost of a gameday ticket. How far we have come. If allowed to continue, the future price of not defending the National Anthem today will become greater tomorrow.

And what will this generation be known for if American sports become the new recruitment center for anti-American socialist propaganda? Will this generation be able to hold it's head high and proudly announce that because it did not have the maturity and self-discipline to abstain from watching sports, the past sacrifices made by brave men and women who gave their lives were all made meaningless.

The Left will never stop until there is no America. By purchasing a team ticket or patronizing an advertiser who supports a team disrespecting the National Anthem, American sports fans are drinking acid to quench their thirst.

They are announcing to all anti-American movements that their self-respect and patriotism can be purchased at a shamefully low price. And that as far as they are concerned, America itself can fade away as long as the void and emptiness inside themselves is filled by members of a sports team that despises everything they stand for.
